Course Description
The course is 1mile 4 furlongs in length and is not a complete circuit. Its shape is similar to the letter C. The course does have some undulations mainly from the last bend into the home straight. The first part of the home straight is downhill and then it rises.

Premier Enclosure: As a badge holder in this enclosure,you can take your place right on the winning line as the horses flash past the post! As well as access to all facilities in the Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure you can also use the Premier Bar and the Balcony Bar with its stunning views across the course.
The Silks Restaurant, which leads out onto the Balcony Bar, serves a fantastic a la carte three course meal.

Grandstand and Paddock Enclosure: This enclosure allows the badge holder access to the main Grandstand including seating, the Long Bar complete with its caf�, seafood bar and Tote betting facilities, the Parade Ring, the Winners' Enclosure and the picnic area. There are a wide range of food outlets serving food such as fish and chips, burgers and hog roasts. There is disabled access to all levels of the Grandstand.

By Car: The Racecourse is well sign-posted if you enter central Brighton on the A23. If you're coming from the seafront, you can head for the Palace Pier before driving eastbound along Marine Parade. Turn left at the first set of lights into Lower Rock Gardens. Turn right at the second set of lights into Edward Street , then first left into Freshfield Road. The Racecourse is at the top of the hill.

By Rail: Brighton is less than an hour from London by train. Trains run from Victoria, London Bridge and Thameslink station including Kings Cross. Frequent coastway services also operate from Eastbourne, Lewes, Hastings, Worthing and Portsmouth.
