Newmarket July Day 1 Review and Day 2 Preview 2016

Day 1 in the Newmarket races and we hit a PROFIT in the 1ST RACE! You know what we say folks! As soon as profit is hit STOP BETTING. It was Housesofparliament (IRE) that brought home the money at a SP of 9/2 it would have returned £45 profit if you backed it at a £10 stake.

After a great start, we have picked out two more horses we're exicting to see out tomorrow!

Friday 15:45:

Today we focus on the Ralph Beckett trained Filly Bletchley as we feel his latest run at Ascot in the Group 3 Albany Stakes where sheDwelt at the start of the race and ended up being held up and behind early on, she made steady headway on the far side just over 2f out and chased the leaders with a strong run inside final furlong, finished exceptionally well and got 2nd place close home, just failed to get up on the line. With a similar run race and without any hiccups in running we feel that this filly will win today under Oisin Murphy. We know Ralph Beckett rates this one highly and he is expecting a bright future with this Filly who is quickly becoming one of the yards stars.

Friday 16:15:

This Group 1 Falmouth Stakes makes for an interesting contest as there are many likable horses participating and makes for a difficult selection. However Raceday Ratings make the Aiden O'Brien trained chestnut Filly Alice Springs our Top Rated selection. Last ran in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Ascot where she was held up in running and in last pair for much of the race, she had a troubled passage from over 2f out, switched left inside final 2f, and still had plenty to do 1f out, she was hard ridden and soon got the hand of things with strong run inside final furlong, she went 3rd towards the finish, almost snatched 2nd, but never able to mount a serious challenge. With a clearer passage in running she will thrive and we believe today could be her day to compensate. Tricky race but Ryan Moore knows her well.
